Hello Deviants, Great News!
I had the best of luck today as my poem "The Darkness of Silence" won first place out of my whole school! I also won an honor roll award and a most improved award in pre algebra (which isn't that hard as I am supposed to be in high school). This has been the first time in my life that I feel truly accompolished with an art form that I have done and I hope there is many more in the future. Hopefully there will be as I will be releasing more poetry soon, some towards the happy, some towards the sad, some even towards the straight up macabre. Whatever it may be, expect some soon fellow deviants!

Hey guys, it's me Garren Novak, and I am here to give you the latest in my life. Well to start, I went to my friend's birthday party, on the 20th of July I recall. We went to the Santa Fe Bowling Alley, and we bowled for awhile, it was a ton of fun. We then went to the buffet and shockingly, I barely ate anything, idk just something in my stomach didn't feel right. I sat at the table and hung out with my friend's dad and such and everyone at the table, until it hit 7:30, which was around the time for my mom to come by the Santa Fe and bring us the card for our friend with the money slipped inside of it. I know, don't remind me, it's been awhile. I haven't really had any time to check my dA recently in the last couple of months, so I decided to finally check it and leave an update XD. I for starters will eventually start coloring pictures and such for other people in the near distant future, with the program Photoshop, and I do not charge points or anything. Harold Ramis died today...
Harold Ramis, legendary film director, writer, and star was found dead in Illinois..... I couldn't believe this news when I found out, I had to look it up again to make sure.... It is so tragic.... I dont even have words to describe what I am feeling right now. I loved his work, and I would watch it again and again over time, his work will stay with me forever.
